Leaving from Los Angeles California, Singapore airlines will fly direct to Narita Airport in Tokyo. While in flight enjoy complementary drinks, hot towels to freshen up, a personal television playing 6 different movies simultaneously, as well as 5 or 6 different video games and 10 channels of music.

The food on the flight is actually quite good. You choice of western or Japanese entrees ensure you get something good. Oh and don't forget about the ice cream sandwiches in between. (dieters bring some carrots :)

The flight lasts 14 hours or so and is typically very smooth. We loose a day's time flying over and on the return trip we gain it back (you actually arrive back to America before you leave Japan!)

Upon arrival we will travel via bullet train to the train station. This trip lasts 1/2 hour.
