Farm Visits

Visit Blackwater Creek Koi Farms

Blackwater Creek Koi Farms is a working koi farm, and we welcome visitors who would like to tour the farm, learn more about koi, and hand-select fish for their pond or collection.

We are open to the public by appointment, and we also host several Open House events throughout the year. If you would like to visit outside of an Open House, please call ahead to schedule an appointment so our team can ensure someone is available to assist you and make the most of your visit.

Our Commitment to Biosecurity

The health of our fish is our highest priority. As a professional koi farm, we maintain strict biosecurity protocols designed to protect the thousands of koi in our care.

When you arrive, please follow the posted instructions and our team's guidance:

- Park in the designated visitor area.
- Stop by the guard shack to sign our visitor log.
- Use the provided hand sanitizer.
- Step through the foot bath before entering farm areas. (You may wish to wear shoes that can tolerate getting the soles wet.)
- Proceed directly to the office and check in with a member of our team.

These simple procedures play an important role in helping us maintain a healthy environment for our fish.

Visitor Guidelines

To help protect our farm and livestock, we ask that all visitors observe the following guidelines:

- No pets, please.
- No fish may be brought onto the farm.
- No aquatic plants may be brought onto the farm.
- Children are welcome but must remain supervised at all times.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to sharing our farm with you. Whether you're searching for a single koi, building a collection, or simply interested in seeing how a working koi farm operates, we're excited to welcome you to Blackwater Creek Koi Farms.
